Even during a global pandemic, PortMiami is moving forward with major cruise line expansion projects.
Cruise operators like Carnival Corporation, Disney Cruise Line, MSC Cruises, Norwegian Cruise Line, and Virgin Voyages are all looking to expand their services at the port’s anticipated updated terminals and extra berths.

Norwegian Cruise Line is in the final stages of constructing its huge new Terminal B facility. It’s a 166,500 square foot development designed by Miami-based global architecture firm Bermello Ajamil & Partners will be able to accommodate the largest vessels in the fleet and provide a much more advanced embarkation and debarkation processes.
Carnival Cruise Line’s Terminal F will have a major upgrade and be able to cater to the new Excel-class cruise ships. The facility will be the cruise line’s largest in North America and is set to be completed in 2022.
MSC Cruises is developing what will be the largest ever built at PortMiami. It is estimated to be completed in 2022 and will have two berths that can cater to the huge World-class cruise ships of over 2000,000 gross tons.
Virgin Voyages is making PortMiami its home with a new 100,000 square foot tropical-inspired cruise terminal. It will be located on the northwest side of the port and is slated to be completed towards the end of 2021. Valiant Lady will be based from the port once she begins sailing from Miami.
