Recap: Palm Beach International Boat Show 2021

Following a year of uncertainty, the 35th Palm Beach International Boat Show 2021 saw a return of in-person boat shows and a "return to normalcy."

The event took place from March 25th-28th along Flagler Drive in downtown West Palm Beach, Florida. The event went virtual in 2020 due to the Coronavirus pandemic, but returned to the streets of Palm Beach in 2021.

The 2021 line-up included hundreds of boats for visitors to admire. The selection ranged from 2.5-metre inflatables to 90-metre megayachts.

This year's event also featured fun, educational activities for attendees. Two new additions were a space called AquaZone and a fishing clinic for children by Hook the Future.

While AquaZone utilized water sports and innovative products to keep visitors entertained, fishing clinics offered interactive instruction for children and teens that wanted to learn how to become fishing professionals.

The event's layout was updated this year and the entire exhibition took place in the open air. Six entrances and exits were employed to ease pedestrian traffic and promote social distancing.
